I am on this site looking for a special person who is willing to take things slow. I am recently out of a long term relationship and I think it is very important to build a good trusting friendship before really getting serious with somebody. Usually it works out better that way. I am a really laid back type of girl who enjoys anything from dancing to sitting home playing cards or watching tv.I am not into one night stands or casual flings. I like real relationships with value. Not to say that everybody I date is going to turn into something long term,but my goal is to find that person in which I can share my life with. Honesty is always the best policy. I think that if there is a lack of communication in a relationship, it will never work out. Laughter is also key. It is important to find somebody who you can really be yourself around, silly, happy, emotional, whatever... You should be able to stand by eachother through thick and thin.

Another important thing..I have a child and the person I meet has to be able to accept and like children. She will always come first, so if you are not a kid person it would never work.

I think that a first date should be anything involving getting to know eachother. A place where you can talk and laugh.
