I moved to San Francisco in 2006 from Chicago, and have loved every moment of living in the bay area. I love to travel, domestically and internationally, and have been to many exciting places the world over. A form of martial arts keeps me strong mentally and physically. I love the outdoors, but also love to enjoy a quiet night at home with a glass of wine and a good movie. I love to cook! I can make a delicious veggie meal to appeal to any foodie. My music tastes are pretty varied, from beats that make me move to soulful lounge. I love spicy food. And I can be spicy myself, at times. I have been told that I carry myself well, and that I have a presence. I take care of myself, and I don't "need" a man. But, I want someone to share my experiences with, who I can trust, who I can be there for, and will be there for me. I believe there is a difference between being in a co-dependent relationship, and being in love. I would like to find the right person to share my life with, but I am definitely not in a hurry. What I am looking for in a partner: Well, I have to say, that I am pretty open regarding what I am looking for. I am a tall woman, but I like to feel petite (or as petite as possible) in a man's arms. I am not religious, but I have respect for religions. I am not looking to be converted to anyone's religion, and would appreciate that to be respected. My tastes are not restricted to any specific race. I think accents are sexy. Another plus if you can speak more than one language. I want someone who is comfortable with themself, who is able to have a good time in many different situations, and someone who is interested in all the things this world has to offer. And, most of all, someone who is ready for a mature relationship if we are right for each other.

I think a great first date would be to meet in the park, or at the beach, with a blanket and some good conversation. If we mesh, maybe go to an ethiopian restaurant for atkilt, injera, and tej. And from there, is yet to be seen!
