| | Ladies, first I want to emphasize something that I know is very important to you and I don't blame you: I HAVE A JOB--solid, even in this economy. Extending myself and meeting new people is relatively new for me and I'm looking forward to it (no, not a criminal record, just work and school). I'm very open, and if we talk or meet, you'll know all. Following the talking points on this website, hobbies have included/include: acting in films produced by the Florida State University Film School; I have been in several productions as a supporting character and have been offered leads, but schedule forbids. I love Steve McQueen films and have used his techniques in those projects; tinkering with speakers (love music and know how it should sound--like the real thing), currently moving into a house, getting decor in mind, having fun with that. Love endless possibilities. I might look into changing jobs soon, maybe more education/training (well, with this economy jacked up by the Marxists now in charge, hard to say). If you ask, I'll send a picture when I learn how to upload and after I decide on a quality digital camera (recent update: A little busy for camera shopping right now, but Canon looks good, just hard to choose among those)
I'm a realist, but am always open to whatever magic can happen. I'm not the standard guy out there. A ball game does not hypnotize me, it bores me. I love to listen and have great conversation. I'm not into trucks. If you are, that's fine, I'm referring more to the attitude guys sometimes get with them (arrogant, know-it-all, road-rage jerks; and too much vehicle for them). Been with those? Here's something different. I'm not the 2010 Mustang guy either, but the car I have is nice with ageless lines (and performance tires). I don't define myself with my car, or a false, loudmouth self-importance the way a lot of guys do. However, while I don't run away from a fight, I'm selective about the ones I will be drawn into.
My taste in music: classical (I can imagine what some of you are saying now.. no, no there is a LOT in that category and I know the best stuff, you'll find something in it you like, I guarantee it)...you will find it is the most exciting music anywhere, it can stir feelings you aren't even aware of now. But I won't force it on anybody. I also like the better country, what the stations here never play--Alison Krauss, Pat Green, Gary Allan, Cross Canadian Ragweed. Anything catchy, well structured and phrased in a lot of categories. Rap does not apply, it's boring and uncreative. Italians were doing unbelievable rhythms 500 years ago, today can't compare.
I don't have to have everything going on to be pleased in the moment. If you like good conversation, quiet evenings and an occasional night place (hopefully with a decent band), that's fine. And yes, believe it or not, some STRAIGHT guys actually dig museums and art. |
