I am a 39 year old female. I have been separated for about a year. My main interests revolve around my horses. I have been riding since I was a child and this has turned into a very serious hobby. I really enjoy being outside and doing physical activities....I'm definitely no couch potato. I have a great job, which is mentally stimulating but flexible and fun. I guess I'm pretty much an intellectual, so I really enjoy people that I can have a good conversation with. That is definitely a must. I have a good sense of humor (or so I've been told). I'm pretty laid back but take important things seriously. My favorite movies include Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, Braveheart, Contact, The Right Stuff. I like a lot of different kinds of music, but I really enjoy techno, alternative, classic rock. I'm not a big country fan. I also have eclectic tastes in books, so I read anything from sci fi to non-fiction, to romance.....currently I'm really enjoying Sookie Stackhouse books (thanks to HBO's True Blood).

I'm also a big fan of travel. I was born and lived in Poland for most of my childhood so that's probably where it started. I've been to all the continents but Antartctica. Some of my travel highlights have been Kazakhstan, China, Australia, Bali, UK, Sweden, Brazil, South Africa. I like going to the Caribbean for beach hang out time.

Currently, I own two greyhounds (retired racers), one psychotic cat, and two horses. So someone who like various creatures is a big plus.

First date.....hmmm. Go out to the barn and go for a trail ride. Or maybe dinner (sushi is good- Sushi Sono in Columbia is the best) for those not so inclined.
