I'm a self-employed Music Instructor in Sacramento. I teach Drums, Guitar, Bass, Piano, and Music Theory. I've been into music since I was a kid and was always told to get a "real job". Been there, done that. Tried for so long to convince myself that money alone was 'where it's at' and lost sight of myself while spending 12+ years in the grocery business. Made a good living moving up the ranks but said "screw it" and decided to do what I love hoping it would help me pay the bills. It did that, and then some. Got into private music instruction a year or so ago and love it! I couldn't be happier. I work for myself, write my own schedule, and the best part is that when I work 'off the clock' it's actually fun, creative, and rewarding.

I love all kinds of music, some more than others. But even if I don't like something, I can generally appreciate the effort put into it. Favorite bands? Way too many to list. I can tell you who I DON'T like, but you'll have to ask me to find out...

I completely enjoy cooking all kinds of foods. I tend to get really creative with random stuff which usually turns out well. I'm from the South so I absolutely love southern cooking. If you can make a traditional southern meal, you freakin rock.

My friends and I have a random quality about us. The day can be going slow and within an hour my house is full of people tossing back beers and playing games or rockin' in the garage with some live music. Or we get together and discuss solutions to world hunger while sober. One of those is a lie, not saying which one!!! We all just really enjoy getting together on the spur of the moment and it always turns out great.

I love exploring places I've never been. That could mean a hike, a long drive, or even a bike ride downtown to visit weird shops and watering holes I've never visited before. Although I enjoy a bit of structure and planning for my day, at any time I can take a different direction as long as it's fun and helps me enjoy my day by experiencing something new or meeting new people.

One last thing. When and if you go shopping at Walmart, look around. If you think everyone you see is normal just like you, please don't contact me. Um, seriously.

Current record: 9 hours on a first date. It was awesome. Sangria and appetizers for lunch, music in the park, beer garden, walk through downtown, stop at a dive bar to split a pitcher, walk through the park with a tall can or two with some deep conversation about life and love, called it a night. No, not THAT kind of night. Who has two thumbs and is a whore? Not this guy.
