| | As a transplant from New England 30+ years ago, I have become a modern day pioneer, living off-the-grid in a very rural area. I am striving to be self-sufficient, but that's not as easy as it may seem. It's a long road to travel. I find pleasure in many things and my tastes are eclectic. Someday, I hope to build an adobe house and open a retreat center. I enjoy my solitude, but also enjoy good conversation and companionship. Though retired, I work part-time on a flexible schedule and am involved in my community. For me, becoming friends is a prerequisite for the establishment of a close, long-term relationship. I am in excellent health and believe I am priviledged in so being. It's amazing how quickly time seems to go by, so I enjoy each day and each moment. I'm a happy person with a good sense of humor and deal with things as they come my way.
