My name is Matt. I am 21. I am about to start my 4th year at UMKC and i am majoring in criminal justice hoping to work with juveniles or maybe law enforcement. I am kind of quiet at first but once i open up i can be talkative and a dork and i am usually sarcastic and a smart ass but in a good fun way. I am also very honest and easy to get along with and i can be friends with all types of people.

For fun i like to hang out with friends, listen to music, watch movies, paintball, hunt/fish, work, drive, go to the driving range, play pool and pretty much whatever sounds fun. I like to try new things.

As for music i am a big fan of alternative music from today and especially the '90s and i think that was the best decade for music. Some of my favorite bands are Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brand New, Iglu and Hartley, Blink 182, Incubus, Weezer, Offspring and i could just go on and on. I also enjoy some punk/emo and harder rock stuff and i can stand some country but i can not stand rap/hip-hop at all because i don't relate to it i guess because i like music if i can relate to it somehow.

I am looking for a girl with a great personality and sense of humor and is not shallow. Looks are not that important to me and i often think every girl is pretty in her own way. I am looking for a girl who likes me for me and who i can be myself around. Also someone in the age range of 19-23 and in the blue springs, independece, lee summit area.

What i don't want in a girl is someone who smokes, causes drama with other people, has no job or car or not in school, has kids or has drama with ex boyfriends. Ive dated those kinds of girls and it just doesn't work out for me and i am tired of wasting my time with all of that.

I am hoping for a long term relationship because i am tired of dating around and think its time to find the one...but i guess what ever happens, happens right?

For a first date...eat somewhere to talk and get to know each other then follow up with an activity of some kind like mini-golf, movie, pool, etc.
