I read a lot that women on here are looking for honesty. Okay I am being honest when I say that most seem to expect a lot from this site. I guess we are all looking for the perfect companion (lets just use that term for now). Well I have met some really nice people here, none have that special spark and that's what it takes to get something started.
So what do I offer. I can comfortably call myself a no nonsense type of person. I am always kind, even when I really want to let someone have a blast. Its just my way to try to make the world a better place to live. I never backdown from a battle of wits (except with an unarmed person).
I live a healthy life, eating healthy foods (mostly) and get lots of exercise. Healthy body and a healthy mind. I like to be intellectually challenged (don't read that wrong). I keep active in community affairs and spend time volunteering with a couple organizations that give me a satisfaction that I have made a useful contribution. I am comfortable speaking to anyone on any topic and at any level. Hey its only talk!
I enjoy spending time on the water enjoying the beautiful natural setting we have here in BC. I also like to travel and plan to get to every continent in the next few years. Maybe Australia in 2010. Europe in 2011. We'll see. (Update-Off to Africa soon...pictures to follow.)
Do you have a matching lust for living? Enjoy long walks in all types of weather? Weekend get-aways? Dining with friends or having people over for a movie and dinner. Ideally you like boating and biking (you'll need to or be left behind). If you're online then you probably know how to use a computer and hopefully you don't hate using technology. (It can be your friend.)
It would be nice if neither of us brought any baggage, not to say we don't have pasts that will always be there but a fresh start is a healthy goal. I am certainly comfortable with a woman who knows her mind and doesn't take to being walked over. I stand up for my rights and opinions so I expect you to stand up for yours. Not to say that I won't come to your rescue and welcome help when its offered.
So drop me a line. Lets see if there is opportunity for some thing to spark. If I wasn't open to the idea, I'd be cruising the bars or something less scientific. lol

Maybe a walk if the weather allows or meet for a coffee or tea.
