About Me
I'm interested in meeting a smart, bright and funny woman who's equally at home in blue jeans on the beach or in a black dress at a more formal occasion.

Here's a little about my life. If the find the particulars interesting, please send me an e-mail and we can meet for a beverage and chat.

I don't believe you can understand the full measure of someone without meeting and talking with them.

I was born in Great Falls, Montana. My Dad was a career Air Force officer and my sisters and I traveled all over the United States and Great Britain. My Mom was a early computer geek and also worked for the Air Force and later the Army.

I attended the University of Maryland after Dad retired from the Air Force in Washington DC and my family moved back to Texas. I returned later and enrolled at the University of Texas.

With a degree in Psychology, I left UT and opened the Comstock, an antiques and collectible shop located in Austin on Kerbey Lane. I’d always been a collector of various things so it was a natural move.

I needed a change after several years of traveling and buying antiques, so I sold the shop and went back to UT in Film School/Journalism.

By chance at UT I worked along side Louis Black, Nick Barbaro and the Cinema Texas crew. They went on to start the Austin Chronicle and SXSW Festivals and Conferences.

After a couple of years of academic film school, an independent film journal and the Texas Film Festival later, I went to work as a news reporter/editor/cinematographer at KTBC.

I moved on to KVUE and worked there during the golden age of Austin TV news with Ron Oliveria, Olga Campos, Kate Kelly and Margy Reedy.

After learning the tools of the news trade, I started Texas Independent News Service. We were based in the Texas State Capitol and reported freelance Texas and National news for ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CSPAN etc.

Later I started Texas Political Network to shoot news events for Texas politicians. Ann Richards, who I’d reported on while she was Texas State Treasurer, hired TPN in 1990/1994 to do all of her gubernatorial satellite video broadcasts.

In the early 1990’s I segued into computers via video editing; from there, I helped start 3 high-tech design and programming companies.

The first one went nose-up with its co-founder, the second company was purchased by a European design house and I’m still involved with the third, doing administrative, corporate and state agency webcasts.

I also project manage high end multi-media projects for Fortune 500 companies like Samsung and AT&T.

My latest hobby is designing new flavors for custom soft drinks
