I've been in love enough times to know it's the greatest thing in the world. Would like to be again. I like to be active but have found myself staying inside too much. I'd really like to change that as summer arrives. It would be nice to meet someone with the same long-term goals that I have for a relationship. Let's get to know each other first, of course, but it sure would be nice to have someone who has my back and I have her's. A perfect day for me includes some time in the lake, some time doing something active, cooking a steak on the grill and maybe even some time in my hammock with a drink and my guitar. And all those things are much, much better with a special someone by my side.

First dates are for getting to know the person, so something simple that gives you a chance to talk is better. You don't get to know someone sitting at a movie and not talking. So something like a casual drink and maybe a walk along the lake works best for me.
