Genuine, open-minded, reliable, kind, and affectionate, I try to think of others first and choose my words and actions thoughtfully. I love to make people smile and laugh, but I am sincere and serious at times. Usually up for anything, especially for trying something new or last-minute plans, I'll always make an effort to have fun, sometimes when I probably shouldn't. While I’m pretty active and very adaptable, I prefer low-key, local options for going out, and I’m just as happy to stay close to home and take it easy, sharing conversation, being outside, cooking a meal, or playing a game with family and friends. I like to keep things pretty simple, can find humor in almost any situation, and rarely find myself getting bored or complaining.

I live on the beach next to one of the greatest city parks in the country, so every day has the potential adventure of boat rides, beach walks, trail hikes/runs, bike rides, and fishing trips with the dog, often ending with happy hour on the deck and potlucks with neighbors...all of which is better shared.

Not one to let convention prevent me from following my dreams, I’ve moved around a lot (Hawaii, San Juans, Chicago, Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, Alaska) and done all kinds of work. Now I’m happy to be back at home among great friends, with a solid job in Seattle and working toward my goals. I'm in the map business, and I'm working on flying professionally. Community service is important to me, and I’d love to fly airplanes supporting research and humanitarian/development missions in the future, possibly living overseas someday.

I'd like to meet someone considerate, intelligent, affectionate, and fun...who values relationships with people, communication, and shared experiences above any things. You’re interested in what's going on in the world and making some part of it better, and I hope you are engaged in doing the things you love.
