Revised 9/29/09 ..... Okay Yesterday was my my B-day, Yay-e-yay! so I decided to give this thing a try again (I guess kinda like a present to myself) I tried this twice before both times for just about a month or two each time I felt it wasnt for me and hid my profile. They say the third time is a charm. So I am just looking to meet someome who is not a weirdo, or bitter. Just a nice, attractive, funny guy, is that really too much to ask for?

I have been living in Long Beach for about 12 years and love it! It's a great city and there is so much to do here. I currently work at an animal hospital in Long Beach, I have been in the field for about 13years. Animals are great therapy, they keep you sane. ;)
I grew up in South Gate/Hollydale. I was raised Catholic but relate more to Buddhism and it's teachings. I have two crazy dogs, "Chip" and "Emma" so you must be a dog lover. (oh! BTW "Emma" is really gasey, I swear it's her!)

I love music and rather go see a live band any day. I used to go clubbing a lot, strictly for the dancing I swear. (dancing is my passion) but I am too old and too tired of the meat market. I love to go see see a live, loud, rock show (English or Spanish) one night then a cool latin Jazz or Spanish guitar show another night, staying home drinking wine and talking all night is also a favorite past time.

I am considered the "dork" in my circle of friends. I love to make people laugh and act silly, okay fine I'll just say it. I'm the life of the party, and that's WITH my clothes on. I am sarcastic and witty, so you best be on your toes.

I would like someone who is not afraid to be goofy with me. I dont care if your laughing at me as long as your laughing. Life is too short to waste it being sad or upset over minor things. Suffering is not a noble state. You might learn through suffering but the goal in life is to learn through love and laughter.
I'm looking for someone who can take on the bad times with a positive attitude and get through it with the help of their partner.
My ideal person is Funny, intelligent, kind, openminded, talented, has integrity, does not preach without practice, leads by example and doesnt expect anything from anyone that he would not do himself. Strong but in touch with his feelings.
I am far from perfect but what I am looking for in a man are all the attributes I have to offer and much more. Wow! I just read this and I sound way too serious! hahaha That's what I get for reading "The Beginners Guide to Meditaion" before posting a proflie on a dating website. I sound like a real catch. ;0

First date? I need a drink!:) I think a wine bar is best, somewhere we can talk, if that goes well we can ditch the wine and go to a dive bar so I can kick your butt at pool, you can really learn a lot about a person by the way they play a sport and how they handle winning or losing. (not that pool is a sport, but you know what i mean) How's that sound?
