If someone were to ask me to sum myself up in a few sentences, I'd probably laugh and tell them that the very task of trying to distill who and what we are in a 700 page autobiography is a fruitless task, let alone two lousy paragraphs. Like it or not, we homo sapiens are way more complicated than that (especially living in the 21st Century). Nevertheless, I'll give it my best shot.

Humor is a fundamental aspect of my life and the attribute I respect the most in others. I tend to range from being sardonic and sarcastic to rather goofy. I roll with the punches and flow with the tides and I know the channels my life flows through can change at any moment and send me off again into uncharted waters. It doesn't scare me, it just keeps me alert; and I know a healthy sense of humor is essential to counter fear and panic.

While I do enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as tennis, hiking, or wandering the beaches, I also value kicking back and putting my feet up with a good book or rented flick.

In terms of what I'm looking for, the only requirements I have is someone who has a great sense of humor, easygoing nature, and values some of the things I do. You can be a hacker or a poet, short or tall, blond or brunette, it doesn't matter. All you need to pack is a sense of humor and the willingness to roll up your pantlegs, get your feet wet, and laugh at yourself if you fall on your butt.

First date? Seems to me it's less about what you do, and more about who you're doing it.
