Hi! I have realized that it is not as easy as one might think to write all the RIGHT stuff down about oneself for this profile. To know that the chance to find the love of a lifetime could be based on mere words is rather intimidating, to say the least. But, since this is a media in which I have decided to try and do just that, I am going to give it my very best to let you know the sort of person I am, the things I enjoy doing in life, and the sort of guy I am hoping to meet that could stimulate my mind, spark my soul, and light my fire.

Some things you might be interested in knowing about me.....I love the outdoors, and being in "nature". Camping, fishing, boating, bicycling...etc. I love to garden, too! I'm an animal lover and have two dogs and two cats. I enjoy watching movies (most genres, but particularly science fiction or romantic comedies). A definite lover of music, I enjoy many different types of music. I play guitar...a little...mostly to sooth my own soul; but I do love the instrument! Lets see.....other simple things like barbecues, campfires on a cool night, book stores, discovering new places, four-wheeling through the woods or through the mud....and I enjoy places like art, or science museums, music concerts and seafood festivals. Living the many years I have lived, it is obvious I can not put it all down, but suffice it to say that I am an individual who enjoys ALL sorts of things... and, I am always game for trying new "things" as well. Living life gives us the opportunity in experiencing many things, and to have the chance to experience with the guy I wouldn't want to live without would be such a blessing.

I consider myself a "mellow" person who is loving, honest, compassionate, intelligent, adventurous, and willing to always try to see and understand the viewpoints of others. Stimulating conversations are always enjoyable. I value the art of communication, both intellectual and inter-personal.

Not into players, nor head games....as if anyone would be, anyway. At this point in my life, I know that what is most important is what is the true character of a person. Time changes all of us on the outside. But the "inside" is the real truth of all of us. The integrity of a person. Honesty. Compassion. Kindness and caring. It's not what you have, but rather who (the sort of person)you are.

The kind of man I am hoping to meet: I would like to share life with just a regular sort of guy. I don't mind vegging out on the couch, but not to the extent that it's the norm. So, I would hope to share life with a guy who enjoys being active, too! One who loves nature and the outdoors, and who likes to try new experiences. As an appreciator of music it would be nice to share that with someone, as well! I enjoy communicators. I would be thrilled to share life with a guy that is not intimidated by speaking about what is in his heart and soul. You see, I am that way, and I would enjoy the reciprocation from a guy in this respect. For two people to trust one another in such a way, I believe, is so very important for a relationship to succeed.

I know this is a lot to put down in writing, but hopefully it gives a glimpse into the sort of person I am and the sort of guy I hope to meet, and to share life with.

As simple as it sounds, in meeting someone for the first time, probably conversation over a cup of coffee, or perhaps a glass of wine would be nice. But, whatever we both feel comfortable with is fine with me.
