The eldest of five in our family, growing up with four sisters, I'm an outgoing individual when it comes to my work and interests, but somewhat shy when it comes to dating. I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast who is at home in the kitchen, thanks to my late father's culinary influence. He raised us as a single dad. I'm very giving in a relationship, and enjoy hiking or going for long walks, rain or shine. I give back to my community by being a four-sport official, umping baseball, when I'm not a referee doing soccer, hockey and football. Being a baby-boomer, my interest in music is diverse, but I'm at home with Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp, ABBA, Enya, Jesse Cook or Delhi 2 Dublin. What is a date when you are no longer a teenager? While I could cook dinner, I might start with a meal out during an inaugural meeting. Followed by a walk or perhaps bike ride along a picturesque shoreline or mountain trails. Dessert at DQ - I love a soft ice cream cone. A movie would be nice, but you can't carry on a conversation to get to know someone while sequestered in the theatre for a few hours. Another alternative: a hiking excursion into the Cumberland forest, with a picnic brought along to consume while enjoying fresh air and scenery. How about fishing for trout or salmon?
