A bit about me - I was born in Portland, a military brat (father was a Colonel in the Marines) and grew up around the country. Went to law school in New Orleans, then spent 7 years as a Navy trial attorney, with my last big case in Gtmo Bay, the Hazing incident that was made into the movie "A Few Good Men." Came to LA in 1990, joined the Organized Crime Strike Force in the US Dept of Justice, and finished my 20 years of government time doing high end prosecutions of all sorts of interesting cases, from contract murders, including a $10 million contract to murder the president of Taiwan, to Russian mobsters and comptuer hackers and pirates. Had a great career, went to Disney as VP of Antipiracy, then went into solo practice. Now have small firm in Woodland Hills, doing federal criminal defense and antipiracy enforcement for clients including True Religion Jeans, UGG boots, Adobe, Ed Hardy and Beachbody. Tons of fun - can't believe I get paid to have fun.

On the personal side, have two adorable daughters, 9 and 11, and I have them at least several days a week - love every minute. If you don't like kids, or pets, move on. Divorce was 7 years ago, followed by a 5 year LTR between then and until about a year ago.

I have tons of interests, like playing most any sport (hate watching, but love doing). Enjoy horseback riding, sailing, hiking, Segways, biking, flying (had pilots license since living in Japan 20 years ago, but dont do much now), skindiving, and anything outdoors. I took 9 months off a few years ago and helped to build the 3 story, 5 bedroom, 5 bath Tuscan style house I designed and share with my 2 cats and the girls. I planted 120 stems of cabernet grapes and love tending to them myself. I also grow black bamboo, and just put in about a dozen Queen Palms. Love doing landscaping and working around the house. I can fix most anything.

I consider myself honest (to a fault), hardworking, love to play, don't take life too seriously, am generous, passionate, and thoughtful and I am looking for the usual: best friend, partner, lover and person to be with foreever.
