I have been divorced for 10 years, kids are grown (and great they are). I think life was made to be shared and that's what brings me here. I'm not wanting to hit the bars to find that someone. I love to go out and people watch, most anything to do with sports and like to spend time with someone who does not live life from their couch. I have been in Boise since 1972, love the climate, love the people BUT the coast still has my heart. I would love to do more traveling and see what else is out there. I have a very lite heart and love to laugh, someone too serious and the pessimistic types I shy away from. I try to greet everyone with a smile as we all have learned, life is short. Concerts are always a fun night out, live music and the people it draws and the energy it produces is great fun. I have a son in college and that has recently sparked an interest in taking a class or two, life is about learning both from books and through experiences.

First dates are about getting to know someone so maybe sitting outside sharing a glass of wine or a beer would be a good opener. Time in the park or walking on the greenbelt enjoying the sunshine would be nice, nothing that makes either party nervous or uncomfortable, just casual and see where it goes. Generally when I meet someone I have a pretty good feeling whether there is an interest or attraction. Most sporting events are also a fun date as there is something to watch and fun to attend. If someone is a bit more adventuresome a whitewater raft trip would also be on the agenda. I'm pretty new at this dating but what I do know is that people that you just click with don't need a big itinerary to get to know each other.
