I'm really bad at this...talking about myself. Where do I start? I am an original - I have dreadlocks, piercings and tattoos and work in the corporate world ;o) However guys I can look 100% professional, clean, etc. A lot of people don't even know I have dreads when they meet me.

I am an intelligent, creative, caring person looking for someone to spend time with. I love to go to live music events, out to dinner, to movies, or just to the Lakewalk to watch the sunset. I wouldn't mind going to a sporting event. I haven't been to a college hockey game in years & would love to go again. I spend my free time reading, knitting, quilting, walking and am currently learning to play the piano. Of course the TV is on when I'm knitting, so what do I watch? Well that's a loaded question - I watch almost everything on Discovery Channel. I love UFC/the Ultimate Fighter. FRINGE was awesome! When I read for pleasure I read thrillers/suspense books, but I also am reading 8-10 nonfiction books on various subjects right now too. I want to learn how to ride a motorcycle and start snowboarding. I've not spent a lot of time on myself for the past few years but am making positive changes in my life - being healthy is not something to take for granted.

Here's some stuff that I wrote off the cuff: I love music. I live alone. I love peanut butter, especially when it's with chocolate. I have dreads and have no plans to get rid of them - I can look totally professional/dressed up when I need to. People think I'm snobby when in reality I'm painfully shy. I'm divorced. At any given time I'm probably reading 8+ books. I have never been camping. I am fiercely loyal. I drive a really cool car! I don't like fire-hot spicy food. I have a serious diet coke addiction. My nose is pierced. I'm one of those geeks with an iPhone but I do not have that stupid Zippo app! I am a certified scuba diver. I played the oboe in high school band. I love UFC. Yes my religion says "other" because I'm Wiccan, so yes I'm a witch. No witches are not evil. The Wiccan Rede is "and harm none". I am not in your face with being a witch. Like all religions, I feel that it is a personal thing. I hate cheaters. I'm a very smart person. I knit - I've even made sweaters that people actually wear. Bad grammar is one of my pet peeves, especially written. I wish I could be a college student for the rest of my life. I wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember - maybe med school will happen when I'm 40. I have 5 tattoos. My parents are my best friends. I do not own a chick flick. My favorite movies are the Bourne series and Dodgeball. I wish I was taller. I own a house. I can be very impatient and/or impulsive at times. I"m learning how to play the piano. I have made over a dozen quilts so far. I can't wear high heels because I've had foot surgery. I am NOT a morning person. I can't talk and drive at the same time. I want to move to Vegas but I don't gamble. I wish I had a lake view from my house. I have 2 Ragdolls (cats) who are my kids. Is there any way that cheese isn't good? I hate fakes - and I can spot them a mile away. First impressions (in person) are big with me because I haven't had one be wrong yet.I love thunderstorms to the point where I actually put myself in danger once. I miss my sister who passed away when I was 19. I am a great cook but I almost never have anyone to cook for. I hate mowing the lawn. I love the color pink but I hardly ever wear it, but most of my other stuff (cell phone cover, darts, etc.) is pink.

A first date would depend on whom it was with - I would want to choose an activity that we both were interested in. Somewhere quiet where we could get to know each other, whether coffee, dinner, or the Lakewalk.
