Do you listen to NPR? Do you really listen to people? Do you look at people and enjoying analyzing situations? If something doesn't go your way can you look optimistically at the situation? Are you calm? Do you like independent films? Are you kind? Do you have the ability to be nonjudgmental? Do you have goals? Can you laugh? Have you traversed further then Olathe? Do you think chemistry is important? Can you tell me things I may not want to hear but are good growing points? Are you able to look at your past as something of strength and perseverance?

The above are all yes's for me. I am open to exploring more about you but the above are things I am really targeting in my search for a friend/partner/lover.
I have found that there are some really great people out here in Internet world, but until one of you has the essence of most of the above it probably won't be enough to take me away from a really good book and a bag of gummy worms.

A few things I know about myself... I have decided I am a closet introvert but extrovert is what gets shaken out in real life. I like short quick very hot bathes. I live for travel and cry reading National Geographic.

I don't remember titles or names of anything, but remember stories and situations.

People and their perceptions are powerful and the driving force to any growth or path they take. Writing is the way I express myself best.
My world has a constant thread of being and achieving even more in life.

I remain calm in chaos.
Oh people…I love watching all of you out there and could hang out at racetracks, bus stops, emergency rooms, and knife shows and watch you interact with life.
My belief is people are primarily good.

Large quantities of green plants and vats of cream cheese frosting is my idea of heaven. Simple yes. A tasty cup of coffee and a breeze is enough to carry me through the day.

I talk a lot about how people shape their perceptions of their world and am constantly reassessing my perceptions.

I will eat anything and mostly eat weird things.

It is hard for me to turn off analyzing my world- it is second nature for me and like a really warm sweater on a horribly damp day.

Reading is paramount to breathing.

I don't believe we are alone in our existence so talking about some sort of higher power/God is part of my vocabulary but I am not a faith-pusher.

I am not one of those people who happen to have steak knives, corn on the cob sticks, or extra sugar around the house. I am one of those people who enjoy trying to make something out of nothing(i.e. strange casseroles and odd desserts)

I have been sorely disappointed in the cultural unawareness in America since I was a little little girl. In other words, the power struggle in our nation has never appealed to me. I realize with that statement I just knocked out 3/4 of you Midwesterners but I welcome discussion because ignorance is not bliss in my world.

Facing fear within yourself is good thing and change is even better. Hint: If you are a fear facer in life I am going to be mesmerized by you.

Everything moves forward with one singular thing: action, regardless of emotion.

I believe deeply in education in any form.

I don't usually cry, but sometimes my heart does hurt.

I rode a motorcycle through a hot wire fence once. The underdog is attractive to me. I love giggling where your stomach hurts and tears crawl down your cheeks. I used to crochet in church and eat candy. I wish I still had a piano. I wish hitchhiking were in style. It took me eight years to get my undergraduate degree.

I don't usually sleep in much of anything and shudder for the day my house catches on fire. I want ten lives. My sister and I fought over the name "snowa" when we were little because we thought it was such a beautiful delicate name.

I will walk a really long trail someday.


I am, actually, similar to you with all the stories you carry around on your shoulders that start to dust your eyes over some days.

First, we would run on the beach naked because that is really flattering for most people, then take a greyhound to Las Vegas and just for the hell of it get married. We would wrap up the date with an all you can eat buffet followed by feeding the leftovers to the homeless in Bolivia.
