I'm currently a college student in beautiful (or something) Providence, Rhode Island. I'm studying business economics and Russian. I hope to work in business consulting after I graduate, and have had several internships in the field.

I just turned 20, but I like to think that I'm pretty mature for my age. I'm pretty driven in terms of knowing what I want to do in life, and I'm making pretty good progress towards it. I've been to half a dozen other countries and will hopefully visit several more this year.

I work out daily, and enjoy playing soccer and ice hockey recreationally. I also like skiing, golf, and tennis.
I love music and have pretty varied tastes in it. It took me a while to get into hip-hop and rap, but now I can tolerate most of it. I've always been a big fan of classic rock.
I consider film a form of art and pretty much live off of my Netflix.
I'm pretty down-to-earth, and like reading, going to parties, and hanging out with friends. I don't watch that much TV but I like 30 Rock, Law and Order, the Sopranos, and football--both American and soccer.

I'm originally from the South (although my accent only comes out when I drink too much) and I tend to dress conservatively, usually sporting a polo or oxford and slacks. That being said, I think tasteful tattoos and piercings can be hot :)

I can be cynical and rather sarcastic at times, but never mean. I have a pretty low tolerance for both games and passive-aggressiveness. In short, I'm not trying to add drama to my life with this, I'm trying to meet someone I can have a good time with.

I'm looking for a girl who has self-confidence and does not need a man to get by. I want someone with her own life, passions, and desires that can function well on her own. I'm not a fan of clingy-ness or obsession, but I will make time to talk to someone if I care. I'm looking for a girl who is witty and well-read. I would prefer someone who doesn't have any major emotional baggage, especially in the form of ex-boyfriends who are bigger than me. I would like to be able to include this girl in my social life, which is fairly active. I'm absolutely open to branching out and doing the things that she likes.

I find that college has me hanging out with the same guys and girls a lot of the time, going to the same bars and drinking the same drinks. I'm hoping to meet someone that can shake that up a little.

I'm looking to hang out and see what develops. A lot depends on the first date or two.
