8:03 PM - first laugh
8:08 PM - first courtesy laugh
8:23 PM - 2nd round of drinks
9:03 PM - we get some appetizers, the sesame chicken is cold
9:19 PM - ~~ bathroom break ~~
9:34 PM - trade phone pix
9:41 PM - you yawn (thinking I don't see you)
9:42 PM - to spite your tired and worn demeanor, I order another round of drinks
9:53 PM - last round of drinks
10:23 PM - leave bar, we walk away, well i do; you are more or less running
10:33 PM - we get to your stoop and I find a space on your cheek to kiss you goodbye only this isn't your stoop its blocks from where you live but you think I'm a bit off and a bit odd and would much rather I not know where you live
10:44 PM - you text me that you got home safe

In all seriousness, I'm getting tired of sitting at the singles table at weddings. It was fun at first but now I feel I have been relegated to a 4 man leper island serving a 4 course meal, open bar and the old folks doing the electric slide.
