Whew...what to say? I'm a single guy who can't understand why I am a single guy! Like that famous movie line, I'm looking for someone to "complete me", or to use another movie line, I wish to meet someone that will "make me want to be a better man". I have varied interests, from shopping for antiques and taking fun rides to small towns to enjoy hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I love movies, theater, and snuggling to watch a favorite movie. I like barbecuing and working around the house. I love to spend hours wandering through Lowe's "just looking" at things. I want to build my own home some day, but wish I had someone with a shared vision to do it with. I want to retire in five years...then ride off into the sunset with my soulmate. I know that sounds corny, but I'm being as honest as I can...If you're looking for the last great love of your life and we find that in each other, I'd be a happy guy. I think the first date is always tough...you're never sure how far to take the feelings you may have for the other person...because they might not share your same passion or feelings. But I prefer an evening event...maybe a favorite restaurant of yours...but just for dessert! Sort of a "start at the end" and see if we linger long enough to work towards backing into dinner and a beginning...or stretching the evening into something more meaningful with lots of conversation that doesn't seem to want to end. I love leaving a first date that I'm already dying to meet you for a second date. And when you sense your date feels the same...it leaves you both looking forward to more...
