Definitely looking for someone long term to share the ups and downs we create in life. Although I'm very down to earth, I've also been described as a free spirit more than once, and even recently.

In a previous life, I have been an avid snow skiier, a water skiier, a hiker, a horsewoman and a bicyclist. More recently, I've added gardening, long walks, reading, movies and going to garage sales with friends. I revert to the previous life now and then too.

I love to travel to new places and some old. And I love being at home.

I'm looking for someone who leans a little more left than right politically. I've been blasted for using the "L" word, so am trying to be a little more open-minded. It seems to mean different things to different people, and some of them get pretty steamed up about it!

I'm interested in you if you are moderately health conscious and have a reasonable level of physical fitness. I try to eat helathy and exercise some, but am not solidly devoted to the gym and I'll be eating ice cream until the day I die. That being said, I'm a vegetarian, so you would need to be OK with that too.

I prefer financially stable, funny and easy going. My favorite thing is laughing. Even though I'm not always particularly witty, I'm a great audience.

Spirituality without religion is nice too.

I'm not into drama. Had enough earlier in life to last, but I do sometimes enjoy viewing it from afar.

I'm a passionate person on certain subjects. I care about doing the right thing in every area of life. You don't have to agree with me, but if you don't have some sort of ethical center, we're probably not a match.

I'd prefer to skip the first date and go directly to the second, if I can figure out how that would work. I'll get back to you on that.
