I’m not totally sure why I have a POF profile. I rarely email anybody and really prefer to meet people outside in the real world. I’ve been on here before and I’ve noticed that a lot of people treat this place like a market, constantly looking for the better deal instead of the deal that makes them happy. I guess this profile is here just in case that one sane woman on here happens to see it? I do like the forums and profile browsing passes the time when there’s nothing better to do.

I’m not going to bore you with the same old crap that’s on everybody else’s profile. Yeah I like music, being outdoors, great sense of humour; blah blah blah, who doesn’t?

I am the kind of person that always takes the high road. I am very selective about the battles I fight, I’m not going to expend any energy for something stupid or childish. I believe in letting people get to know me before I pull out the sarcasim. I love making people laugh and I do so at my own expense a lot, not because I have a low opinion of myself but because I can’t offened myself with my own jokes. I am very young at heart but have the intelligence to not let my inner child run my life.

I am working on a life plan that will allow me to pretty much do and go where my heart desires. I don’t ever see myself settling down and having the normal “nuclear” family of 2.2 kids a dog and a 9-5 Monday to Friday exsistance. I will admit that it is entirely possible to have a change of heart but that is not where my heart is or looks to be going from this point in my life. What I do want is a friend, a soul mate that I can fall in love with and her me. Married or not we can compliment each others lives with the goal of making each other happier than we have ever known possible.

I’m not looking for anything serious right now I’m just trying to meet different people, maybe gain some friends and if something happens along that journey than cool. I like to do a lot of different things including new things that I’ve never done before so if you have interests that I don’t that is good. I’m not a super out-going person, meaning that I don’t want or need to know everybody in the world, I do like to know the people I know as well as I can. I’m not a shy person, maybe the word I’m looking for is selective about who I hang out with.
