I am a professional visual artist. Received my Masters from Columbia University. Art and cultural pursuits are central to my life. Travel to many parts of the world has had tremendous influence on my work, and allowed me to experience the wonderful diversity of other cultures. Diversity is one of the major pleasures of living in NYC. Frequently, I will hop on a subway to wander around the different communities, discovering unusual restaurants and markets. I am a warm, open, and kind person. Prefer simple to fancy. I am somewhat unconventional and off-beat, but very grounded and responsible. Spontaneous, youthful in spirit and energy. I love to learn, explore, and experience new possibilities. I trained as a conversation partner at the International Center in NY. I volunteer to help non-native speakers become more comfortable with their new language. Dance is another passion. I was a Balkan dancer for many years. I occasionally attend zydeco as well as 50's and 60's dances. I love attending dance performances. My taste in music is broad--Baroque, chamber, blues, gospel, classic, folk, ethnic. I enjoy getting together with small groups of friends for meals and lively conversation. My lifestyle is healthy, relaxed, and up-beat.

Intelligence, compassion, kindness, and honesty are very important qualities that I am looking for in a partner. As sense of humor is a must. Intimacy and romance make it all special.
