I've been in Delaware for a few years now. Lately, with busy lifestyles that so many of us lead, there never seems to be enough time in the day to go out and meet people. Some friends recommended this site, so here I am.
I'm retired from the Navy and have had the great fortune of traveling and living all over the world. I love to experience other cultures. It's been a while since I've gone anywhere significant since I don't care to travel solo. Those experiences seem better when shared with someone.
I'm very much an outdoorsy kind of guy. I like fishing, hiking, kayaking, that sort of thing. After a hectic workweek, time spent in nature tends to refresh my outlook on life. I love nature and what it has to offer but I also appreciate the comforts of home and like to find a nice balance.
I try to focus on the positive. I also try to better myself daily by learning something new, exercising, reading, making someone laugh or doing something nice for a complete stranger.
My musical tastes vary. I can listen to most anything, it just depends on my mood.

Lunch at an outdoor cafe or coffee shop would be nice. Maybe even a hike or just walking around an area with lots of shops. Anything that would allow us to get to know each other.
