I'm an easy going Southern California native who loves to explore the outdoors. I have hiked, camped and fished in some amazing places. I traded in my skis for a snowboard years ago and have been loving it ever since.

The creative drive has always been a part of me and usually finds an outlet in my drawings and paintings. I'm also learning to play Spainish guitar and can't put the thing down. History fascinates me, especially ancient civilizations, that must be why I'm addicted to the Discovery and History Channels. I also freely admit that yes, I am a Sci-Fi buff, I just don't go to their conventions. This also means I can fix your computer with some rubberbands and a paperclip (MacGyver anyone?).

I'm a simple straight forward kind of guy with a good sense of humor looking for a woman with the same. I'm in fantastic shape, love working out at the gym (I'm a bit of a gym rat and make a great workout partner), and I constantly challenge myself in what ever I do. I'm a big believer that common sense and decent morales will fix a lot of life's problems. Since I was raised to respect nature, I never take more than the forest can give (that means I'm eco-friendly). My family and friends are always a priority and I enjoy helping others whenever I can.

When it comes to music I'm a bit of a dichotomy. It's mostly classic rock (AC/DC, Van Halen, Dio, Santana, ZZ Top, Ozzy, you get the picture). But I also listen to classical when the mood strikes. Lately I've been listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn (great Blues guitar).

It would be great to find someone with the same interests I have. It's also cool if you have some of your own, it makes life more interesting that way and you might just give me a new passion to share with you. What I'm looking for in a woman? She's intelligent, fun-loving, adventurous and athletic enough to keep up with me. If she has a creative streak, that's worth bonus points. To sum it all up I'm looking for my friend, partner and lover to share all of life's adventures with.

I like fun active dates where we can carry on a conversation and learn about each other. Going on a hike or bike ride, shooting some pool or maybe visit the Getty Museum is a good way to break the ice.
