Since moving to Calgary (and Alberta), I've rediscovered camping, hiking, climbing, and learned to sail. This coming winter I'm learning to sk. I'm an avid reader and a bit of a movie buff that loves to try new things (everyone seems to say that part!). I'm enjoying my job and generally want to make sure I have a career where I can put my skills to use, and make a positive impact on the world.
I joined the site because a friend of mine told me it was worth a try, like anything else in the dating scene its the usual - you meet all kinds of people.
I have a really wide variety in taste in music, everything from alternative, classic rock to trance, indy, metal and lots in between. The one exception is Country, it was never that big where I grew up, and it has been very slow to grow on me here.

The easy one is to go for coffee or drinks to find out what we both like and to go from there. It would be fun to do something interesting, something new for both, or sharing something both like. It could be anything from rock-climbing at a climbing gym, or go-karts, or a simple walk through the park, but the sky's the limits.
