My name is Dan.

I'd like to consider myself a very consistent individual, with a mature outlook on life. I take people for who they are, despite often being patronized for being myself. I am quiet, but full of emotions, and am not afraid to express them to the right people. I am confident in my capabilities, both physically and mentally. I am myself, most of all, and that's generally important to me.
I enjoy the sport of bowling, and have been in leagues for as long as I can remember. I watch baseball, and am a CHICAGO FAN (favor the Cubs in a cross-town rivalry).

I'm in school for a degree in Illustration, than we'll see from there. I plan on taking what I learn in school and applying it to becoming the next big thing in the tattoo industry. Tattoo art has always been fascinating to me, and I've held onto the dream of becoming a tattoo artist for several years now. I don't "fit" the tattoo image though; I'm much more dressy/conservative, and value my individuality from the crowd.

My work is generally Photo-realism, involving flowers and angels. I also do a lot of pointilism, and other time-consuming techniques. Examples::

I’m really good at Art, Bowling, Computers, video games, Sarcasm, Making people laugh, Being a shoulder to cry on, Listening, arguing a point across, Common sense, and street smarts.

I'm not a huge reader, but I did enjoy all of Dan Brown's novels. Angels and Demons was my favorite.

As far as movies, I am willing to watch anything. Of my favorites, a few notables include: Gladiator, American Beauty, Superbad, Saving Private Ryan, Minority Report (really any Tom Cruise movie; he's awesome).

My music taste consists primarily of 70's/80's rock, with only a few modern bands. I love Journey, KISS, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Eagles, John Mayer, Bryan Adams, Dave Mathews Band. I'm a sucker for the love songs (no joke)

I'm open to any foods. I like to always try something new, but I havent had much opportunity to try much seafood. I love spicy foods, and various barbecues. I'm Italian, so any form of pasta is acceptable.

Casual lunch/dinner. Hang out afterwards. I'm more into a low-key first date. I do, on the other hand, enjoy treating someone to nice things, and making them feel special. I'm far from cheap :\
