Hi and welcome. I'm a successful ceramic artist and interior painter with wide and profitable business and travel experience. I'm seeking a wonderful woman for domestic and day trip adventures, and especially for sharing good day-to-day skills and affections. I'd love to have a Best Friend and Lover who would benefit from what I have to exchange and share in companionship, kindness, and creativity. I'm not perfect, but my colorful experiences, even including a stint as Mr. Mom, give me a unique lens for appreciating what you might have to offer, even if just for a friendly repartee.

I think that cooking in the kitchen with or for someone is great. And oh--I make the best holiday hot chocolate ever. Sipping it in front of a fire, well--very good things might go along with it. The pictures of me are within the last two years, except the one in the turquoise blue shirt, which is older, but I haven't changed much in appearance, thank Goodness.

Are you an intelligent, verbal, and affectionate woman wanting to share the world with a creative type who can focus on you? (Dating, friends, commitment, in that order.) As for "sharing the world," I'm not a megalomaniac bent on ruling the planet, though I'm bent on makeing a useful artistic/philosophical contribution. I'm invested in thoroughly enjoying the part of history we're in at the moment and investing myself in it. I am a "Friday's child" in the original Norse understanding of loving, giving, and wealth. I've made long lasting friendships with those I've connected with. I like someone who is able to talk about something with substance, about who and what you/we are, and what's happening now. For instance, do you notice details that are clues to the core of things? When you look at a painting or person, or read, do you see/feel/hear the patterns (like in music)as well as the prettys? If so, maybe we might chat and get to know each other a bit before meeting, should things go that way.

A favorite movie quote about a first meeting is: "It's a date, not a marriage proposal." A first date is to see what it feels like to be with someone, so somewhere that talk is possible is a good first choice. I've found that an ease of meaningful communication goes with and grows with friendship and intimacy. Going for a cup or a wrap at the Cozmic Cafe in downtown Placerville might be a good way to meet. Like a friend of mine often said: "Vamos a ver!" (Let's go see!) Maybe there is chemistry ahead?
