I am looking for a deep relationship with mutual respect What I wish for is simple. At least I hope it is.

I am looking for a actual woman not an actress. Maybe you, like everyone, have hangups. That's OK, that's human. It doesn't matter if you are over-confident, under-confident, an overachiever, underachiever, or any of the other things that friends and Oprah say we should be (or not be). I know that when we find the person that is right for us that we will fit into each other's lives with comfort and ease.

I'm not looking for someone that has read a book or two about how to be or act, and then plays it out, that's acting and I want the real you.

I love the following; my cats, cooking, hot sauce, the Redwings, the Beatles, cooking. Yes I like to cook.

I take pride in my career, it is an obligation that I take seriously and that makes my time away from work all the more special. That's where we come in, I hope. The mutual reward from a loving and caring relationship is the most important thing in the world, to me anyway. I will not stop until I have found it and can share it.

If you have children, great. I understand their place in your life. If you and I decide to be together then I will do all I can to always be a positive influence upon them.

I am into classic rock and blues. I play guitar and although I don't have the time to make it much more than an occaisional hobby these days I enjoy it greatly.

I am accused, often, of having a dry wit or told I am "quick-witted" whatever that means. It's just the way I think. I just happen to come up with things quickly and people seem to find this amusing. And although I can be a smart-alec, if you are the kind of person that says vicious things and thinks you're witty, you're not, you're actually a posterior opening and I am not looking for another one of those.

Bumper stickers don't make patriots. Quoting talkshow hosts without giving them credit does not make someone a political expert.

UPDATE:The reason for my divorce is that we simply did not provide to each other the things that make a relationship mutually rewarding. I'm not bitter and, yes, I am glad to have turned that page. This is the question that everyone seems to ask so there's the answer.

So, is it you? Do you like to sneak out for dinner on a Tuesday? Or maybe meet at the local Coney for laughs and talk? Is spending time with the man in your life important to you? A "yes" to these questions is good, BTW ;- )

Do you like cats? Do you like air-conditioning? Do you like comedies? Do you think that avid sun-worshipping is odd? Here too, a "yes" is good.

I will certainly write more if you are interested. I actually look forward to it.

Our first date will depend on what we both like, of course. Having just moved to downtown Wyandotte I think it would be nice to visit one of these quaint restaurants to find one that is special. If we work out it could be the place that we return to in the future to celebrate our once upon a time.
