About Me
What you are about to read is me in the raw.. Down to the core. I hide nothing, I appreciate the reciprocity.
Personal Views There is a song by linkin park, called 'in the end'. The lyrics are quite misleading as the chorus states, in the end it doesn't really matter. To me it's saying the opposite.. That it all does.. The drive, passion, and energy we share and invest into the ones we care for like family and fellow loved ones, live on through those loved ones
Religion 1st and foremost, I've seen and done many things in my life, but GOD is first. and it's through my experiences, ups and downs, that have shown me I'm never alone. I do not push my religion on others and maintain an open mind to respect others views. So I ask for the same respect in return
My Life Where to start? I'm extremely driven by self efficacy. After all, we're only as strong as our weakest link. Before I joined the Army and became a COMBAT MEDIC, I was a Network Infrastructure Specialist and college student. I was doing very well managing a strong 3.667 GPA and climbing in my career, when I woke up needing to do something greater. To serve a greater cause. So, I decided to drop everything and Save lives.
Saving lives, Protecting our freedom, and embracing army values such as (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, & Personal Courage) These are things the Army tries to teach us, Ironically growing up in a military school, I embraced integrity and maintained it as a part of my life long before I joined.
Animated, energetic, intense, yet calm, and intimate. Strong and Sweet, a lil dorky but incredibly social at times. My self efficacy is often overlooked as arrogance, until someone gets to know me. I thrive on challenges and intellectual conversation, yet the romantic and sensual natures are equally intense. Yet, at the very core. More than all else. I'm a patriot and love my country.
Goals Finishing most of my degree while I'm in the Army. Once I've paid my dues to my country, I will have my BS and then use my G.I. Bill to get my Masters. Then continuing and taking my career to the next level. I've always seemed to have it all except a woman to truly love and make happy. Dorky Side PS3 & Video games like Tekken 6, Call of Duty Modern Warfare2, Gran Turismo, some MMORPGs. Yes, I own the steering wheel for "Gran Turismo" on my PS3. hehe.
Technology. I can do anything with a computer. And, to top off the nerd factor, I'd rather get a new bad ass cellphone, video game, or computer part than go golfing (I don't golf).
Oh, and I'm a big movie buff. I love going to the movies or stayin in and watchin a blu-ray.
I do love to shoot as a hobby, I've never been hunting. If you know how or interested in learning about firearms or can shoot, that is a plus too. I have a pretty fun collection.
Self-Efficacy Albert Bandura Stanford University Perceived self-efficacy is defined as people's beliefs about their capabilities to produce designated levels of performance that exercise influence over events that affect their lives. Self-efficacy beliefs determine how people feel, think, motivate themselves and behave. Such beliefs produce these diverse effects through four major processes. They include cognitive, motivational, affective and selection processes.
A strong sense of efficacy enhances human accomplishment and personal well-being in many ways. People with high assurance in their capabilities approach difficult tasks as challenges to be mastered rather than as threats to be avoided. Such an efficacious outlook fosters intrinsic interest and deep engrossment in activities. They set themselves challenging goals and maintain strong commitment to them. They heighten and sustain their efforts in the face of failure. They quickly recover their sense of efficacy after failures or setbacks. They attribute failure to insufficient effort or deficient knowledge and skills which are acquirable. They approach threatening situations with assurance that they can exercise control over them. Such an efficacious outlook produces personal accomplishments, reduces stress and lowers vulnerability to depression.
Sexuality (First off, Sex is a perk not a reason) If you're making your assessment based on this you're wrong. So many marriages have gone south due to terrible sex, So 12 years ago I began studying and researching the (A&P) Anatomy and Physiological aspects of sexuality that built a good foundation to understand that psychological aspects of a woman's sexuality. The reality of it is, if you lead the mind the body will follow, and creating the right atmosphere and experience can open doors in the mind that allow the body to feel wondrous amounts of pleasure. To understand the physical and psychological aspects of a woman's sexuality has opened doorways to endless possibilities in a manner of pleasures and methodologies. It also has assisted me in the self actualization of my own sexuality, which in turn has opened doors to deeper and more wondrous pleasures of my own.
My History & Ink ByzKing, is the nickname I've taken after an extensive amount of research tracing my heritage. My family history goes back to the kings of the byzantine empire. When my Ink is finished it will tell the story of my ancestors taking a medieval civilization and integrating church and state.. bringing Christianity to the empire. This is why my closest friends call me Byz.
