A Forty-nine year old never married male who does not have any children and is willing to entertain the thought of doing both (even now). I know you might be sitting there and saying to yourself - He's over 40 and never married. So what wrong with this guy? Answer - NOTHING. I just chose to do it in a different order than you did. I'm ready for the opportunity to be that awesome dad who won't skip out on their responsibility because they still feel the need to sow their oats.

As for me I am mature, financially responsible and know what I want out of life. As for any old flames, they have been extinguished, packed up and put out to pasture. I paid my own way through college (Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degree) by working and taking out college loans that have been long paid for. I’ve rented, then bought a place, sold it and bought another bigger place which I am living in now; have worked in the same industry for over twenty years and I’m six years away from being able to retire if I feel like it but in all likelihood won't; a great cook; keep a clean house (dusts and vacuums, but since you are not here probably not as often as you would like), wash the dishes; fold sheets and towels the way my mother and grandmother taught me and have to make the bed every morning before leaving for work.

I like sports, but I don’t live for them. I dabble in golf and skiing, bowling and a few others. I love my football so on Sunday’s in the fall you will find me in front of the TV. I like antiquing, reading a good book, cool bright blue summer days, but a crisp fall day is even better. I love long unplanned weekends, vacations to new places when I have the time and money. I love a variety of music, but grew up on 60’s and 70’s rock and country and willing to take on and try new formats except rap and hip/hop. I’ve been to so many concerts I’ve actually lost track and stopped counting a long time ago. Only been to NYC a few times in my life (now don’t get upset as I have friends who have never been there), but have been to many other cities through out the country and once in Europe.


Now about you:

Prefer someone who also hasn’t been married before, but will entertain interests from divorced or widowed only if you know how to treat the new person in your life as just that. NEW! I’m not your ex so please be able to leave their faults behind with them. You understand that I am someone new, unique and you are willing to learn about me and my quirks and either accept them or move on. You are looking for that special someone who will be the most important person in your life. Your serious about having someone special in your life.
