I'm originally from the Bay Area, but have lived in San Diego for the last seven years, and can't bring myself to leave! I'm a teacher, so am normally busy during the week, but love having time off over the weekends and during the summer. Although I love teaching, I tend to work with a lot of women, so it's hard to meet guys at work... and even though I like to hit up the bars every once in awhile, it's not really where I'm looking to meet someone. That being said, I also feel that I'm pretty much past the partying stage... special occasions like birthdays, or friends in town is fine! There's so much more to do in life! I'm pretty low key and am happy going to a Padre's Game or walking around Balboa Park. I love going to the beach, hiking, happy hours, relaxing at home, or an occasional night out with friends. I'm looking for someone laid back, and someone who loves to laugh... but is also capable of the occasional serious conversation if necessary. I do tend to be a little reserved when first meeting someone, which makes me kind of weary of the on-line dating thing, but I'm willing to give it a try, nothing to lose, right? I usually warm-up pretty quickly once I'm more comfortable with a situation.
