I’m just me and I love it. I’m not perfect but I sure as hell have fun trying. I like to laugh all the time, even at my own jokes. I care a lot about others, which is why I work in nonprofit, and not somewhere making me rich. I'm a certified workaholic. I’ve made many mistakes, and I’m sure I’ll make more I just choose to learn from them. I’m addicted to television. I like to stay up late and sleep in. My family is my backbone, and I owe them the world. I’m not one of those people who know the lines to movies. I’m a Michigan football fan even though I’m from Ohio originally. If I could learn two do two things this year it’d be to dance like Shakira and snowboard. I act tough, I’m competitive but deep down I’m a softy.

My life keeps me pretty busy so sometimes it's hard to meet as many new people as I'd like. I also am a strong believer that you should be open to knowing people from all over and all different kinds of people. I'm also a big romantic and believe in soul mates, and I don't think a soul mate necessarily will always be within your state or city...sometimes you have to be open!

Anyhow...most people wonder what my mix is I'm...irish, german and black.
I work in fundraising, major gifts, annual fund, special events, marketing and much more. I absolutely love my job and the people I work with!
I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with minors in sociology and philosophy. I will be pursuing my Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management this upcoming year.

WHAT I WANT IN A MAN: Romantic, trustworthy, gentleman, sweet, intelligent, outgoing, fun, funny, successful, goal oriented, family oriented...I also like a man that's compassionate about others. I work in a non-profit and helping others means a lot to me, I'd like a man who also has a heart of gold :)It's important that a guy is open to trying new things...learning how to snowboard is a big thing i want to do and golf! I want a guy who can adapt to all different situations and places. One day we can go to a museum, or a fundrasier and the next a football game.

WHAT ATTRACTS ME TO A MAN: I like men who are taller, muscular, a pretty smile, and someone who just commands attention. I've always been most attracted to black men also.

I always wonder what men think about these things:If you met the right woman and lived in another city or state...would you move to be with her? I believe that soul mates aren't necessarily in the same city so you have to be open.

Sitting down for a nice dinner where you can get good food and have a drink is a great first date. Somewhere quiet enough so you can talk. Maybe take a nice walk afterward.
