I'm a girl who loves adventure. From world travel to a new muni route, upside down zip-lining or a day of meditation. I believe in saying YES to life and all that it offers. I'm a fan of all kinds of active pursuits--am currently exploring Rocket yoga, pranassage, and the ever elusive spinning pole. I also spend time running trails, hanging out with family and friends, and planning the next big vacation (just got back from Costa Rica, gearing up for Southern India).

I would love to find a way to evolve out of my corporate career. While professional success can be gratifying at times, I'm realizing it's not how I want my life to be defined. That being said, if you're looking for the secretary/teacher type, that's not me. I'm smart, ambitious, and driven in everything I do. I say this only because some guys seem to have qualms with dating someone who's successful and has a brain. :)

I guess it's only fair to tell you my faults as well: I can't do mental math, am terrible at geography (especially those square-ish states in the middle of the country), I spit when I run, I find watching football a bore at best, I can be brutally honest, I'm fiercely independent, and I get pissed when people break commitments with me. Still interested. . .??

I am looking for someone who is genuine--no games or false intentions. I'd like to find someone who's active, social, curious, unpretentious, spontaneous, sarcastic, confident. . . and who has good grammar. I like to be intellectually challenged and exposed to new ideas. It's important to me that you have close pals and some idea of purpose or ambition in your life (not tied to money, but just some clarity on what drives you and makes you happy). I tend to like "guys guys" over the metro/preppy type. And if the majority of your pics are either without a shirt on, in a muscle tee, or self-pics of you Flexing at the gym, no need to get in touch with me. Also, no kids, sorry.

Ah, the online first date. An afterwork glass of wine/beer or a Sunday afternoon meeting at a coffee shop seems to work. Nothing overly drawn out or fancy.
