Im going to be at sea for four months starting the 14th of December.

I am a hard working,squared away, career oriented person.I am very passionate about the environment, conservation, generally making the world a better place. I am also laid back, fun loving, wise ass and a bit of a geek.

I have fairly uncommon job I work as an Environmental officer for a major cruise line. Basically this means I get to travel the world and protect the environment at the same time, but also means I spent quite a bit of time away from home (four months at sea then two at home).This is a difficult thing being away from friends and family for so long but it truely is an adventure. Im quite frequently amazed by the places I have been and things that I have seen. It also helping me to build a strong base in life and is my primary focus for the next few years. Im considering going to law school to study environmental law in order to help write laws that actually protect the environment and encourage conservation. We only have one planet and we have to make a difference.

Travel: Alaska and most of the lower 48, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, USVI,Colombia,Panama,Ecuador,Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Falkland Islands and New Zealand. I plan on getting to europe within the year.

I am fascinated by the natural world, history, sociology, physcology, Politics. I read a wide range of books on these topic as well a works of fiction. Some of my favorite authors are Stephen King, JRR Tolkien, Lester Brown, Al gore, and Robert Greene. I have tendency to try "extreme" out door activities: Bungy jumping, controlled falls, white water rafting, Zip lines, Zorbing. I havent been sky diving yet but thats on the list. Im a Certified SCUBA diver. I'll try just about anything once.

When im home on vacation (two months at time) I am ready to let loose have fun and can get bit rowdy from time to time. But after four months of working every day who isn't ready let their hair down.

Go to a Museum, the aquarium. Any place that we can have a conversation and get to know about each other.
