I am somewhat shy, but get much more outgoing the more I know someone. I can converse about any subject which is brought up, but don't initiate small-talk very well. I host karaoke locally and really enjoy the people I come into contact with. I have discovered that I am a very tactile person and enjoy human interaction/conversation a great deal. I spend most of my days reading, working jigsaw puzzles, sudoku/crossword, or playing cards/boardgames with my roommate/sister. I can get silly and have a good time, but also be a lady. I have old-fashioned values and outlooks, but also accept new ideas. I accept people for who/what they are and expect the same from others.

On a first date, I would like to either go out to dinner at a place where we could converse without having to yell at each other, but would have privacy in order to exchange ideas and history, or go on a picnic at the park and spend the afternoon just talking. For that matter, even just getting together for a beverage would be good if it gave us a chance to talk.
