Newly-single laid-back guy between Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine looking for new friends and people who love boating. I'm not looking for a serious relationship, but not looking for one-nighters either.

My 3 daughters are grown and I have no grandchildren yet thank goodness. I'm a successful self-employed professional, healthy, attractive, clean, educated and don't smoke other than an occasional cigar on the golf course. When I'm not traveling or working, I'm chillin on my boat with a****ail and some good tunes.

I enjoy most types of music--especially blues. I love going to concerts, festivals and clubs that have live music. I don't like "singles bars" or "meet markets" where people stand around and make small talk. I love dogs, but I'm not so much into cats. I have a 75 pound mixed breed rescue dog who looks like a coon hound standing in a ditch because of his short legs (he's part bassett hound).

I am not necessarily looking for younger women as age is primarily a matter of how you feel and how you act. If you are over 50 but look like 40, feel like 30 and act like 20, hurry up and call me. I am most attracted to women who have brains, self-confidence and independence as well as a resemblance to Susan Sarandon (just kidding about that last part). P.S....why does POF have a problem with the word "cocktail"?
