Hey what's up! :)

I'm a San Diego native; I love this town; love having fun; joking around; hanging with friends; I've got a ton of hobbies, interests, and passions (see above); I know what I want in/out of life; and I wouldn't mind having a partner in crime to share the journey!

My taste in music is all across the board. Some of my favorites are: Reggae, House (funky, jazzy, latin, downtempo), Ambient, Lounge, Rap, Classic Rock, and, yes, I even like some Country! :p And someday soon, I'm going to make some music of my own.

Oh, and I should probably get a few things out of the way:

For one, yes, I smoke. "If there's a problem with that, it's yours, not mine." lol Someone else wrote that and I liked it, so I decided to post it on my page. I think it sounds borderline rude, though, and I'm really not rude. Either way, though, yes, I do smoke. But, hey, "Even good people have bad habits" (I just happen to be someone that admits it - even here, online.), and who knows, I just might stop one day. Keep in mind, though, if I ever do stop, it'll be on my terms, not someone elses. ;) (side note: It's fine if you don't smoke - I'll accept you just the way you are. lol)

Next, I'm not religious - and I don't particularly agree with religion. Want an explanation? Just ask. Don't get me wrong, though, I do believe in being a good person and I also believe in a sort of karma, but it's about positives and negatives more than anything... not about a god of any sort. I also believe in honesty and, in case you haven't noticed, I'm being brutally honest here with my details. So, if you don't like some of those details - which I know many of you may not - I hope that you can at least appreciate the honesty. "I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not" - Kurt Cobain.

Also, I do have an awesome daughter, but she lives a looong ways away from here, so you won't have to share me with anyone besides my friends. ;) If you have young children still living with you, we could hang out and see where it goes, but I like to go out and do a lot of varied activities - sometimes on short notice - so I'm just not too sure how well someone in that situation would be able to keep up. Every situation is different, though, so who knows ...

P.S. If you see that I've looked at your page, but didn't write you, that doesn't mean that I didn't like you! Sometimes it's nice to be pursued instead of the pursuer. So, if it sounds like we might get along, shoot me a message - you never know what might come of it ...


Some of my randomness: enjoy ... lol

- I'm an optimist
- I'm a dynamic
- I'm a believer ... that is so often in disbelief.
- I care ... that's why I am the way I am.
- Then again ... I could care less.
- The Golden Rule is flawed ... or should I say, "incomplete".
- Nobody is perfect ... but two people can be perfect for each other.
- There are 2 sides to every story ... sometimes more ... but always only one truth.
- I'm a bit of a smartass at times ... with a touch of social cynicism ... based on facts :)
- I believe that people are basically good ... and that the "bad" people, in one way or another, are victims of circumstance. I also believe that "Good" or "Bad" usually comes down to perspective. There are, of course, some exceptions.
- I've looked a few times now and the only "outs" that I see in the wedding vows are "until death do us part" and "for as long as we both shall live". Where does it talk about divorce? It doesn't. With that in mind, there really shouldn't be any divorced Christians, should there!? I mean, let's get real now.
- Nobody on here does drugs, but everyone drinks. Okay, but wait, alcohol is a drug, right? Yes, it is. Let's face the facts here, people! ;) Alcohol may be a socially acceptable drug, but make no mistake about it, it IS still a drug! So, before you go discriminating against "drug users", check yourself, and be real about it! I know that's asking a lot - to face an unbiased reality - but it's about time! And it goes well beyond that simple admission!
- Schools teach ... but what do we learn?
- One of the biggest challenges in life is learning how to get along with people that you just can't seem to get along with. Instead, we've "learned" to walk away or fight it out ... but do we really learn anything from that? Ours kids sure do! ... divorce, wars, domestic voilence, bar fights ... just a few examples of not learning to get along.
- Our gov't. wastes billions - even trillions - on wars and on bailing out companies owned by outrageously wealthy people while some of our people can't even afford an education, healthcare, food, or a place to live. But our gov't. isn't the only one to blame: How much did those season tickets cost you? Are our athletes, actors, and musicians really worth 50 gazillion dollars a year?! (Answer: no way!) What time is your nail appointment? Did you get in enough Vegas trips last year? How is it driving that V8 Cadillac Escalade 40 miles to work every day ... alone? My point: too much waste and vanity - not enough compassion. Too much ego and greed - not enough humility. We're all guilty in one way or another - I'm no exception - it's the American way. I'm learning to be different, though, and I'm now aware of my impact. What about you?
- Ridiculous ... Definition: Deserving or inspiring ridicule; absurd, preposterous, or silly. See synonyms at foolish.
- Nobody is perfect... but that doesn't mean we can't try. :)
- Age is just a number
- I don't understand why, if you're on a dating site, you would choose to post pics of yourself with the opposite sex - it's soo unappealing.
- I'm constantly being told that I don't look my age - and I like it.
- I like being single ... and I like being in a relationship.
- I like making people feel special ... because they are! We all are - even the idiots! haha
- I really dislike infomercials.
- Naps are the best - long live the power nap! :p
- I want to make a difference ... and I'll do my part. Imagine if everyone did the same ...
- I'm a good cook ... and I'm not too bad at eating, either.
- I don't like holding back ... so I rarely do. That applies to many different aspects of my life.
- I want to be with someone that's just as stoked about me as I am about her... and when I find her, I'm going to make her the happiest girl around!! You can take that one to the bank!
- I'm a one woman man ... and as such, I refuse to be one of anyones options. I'm either priority numero uno, or I'm out.
- I'm a strong believer in the "Live and Let Live" philosophy. I really don't think most people understand the true depth of that philosophy ... but they should. It's one we all need to learn, and live by. Until we can do that, we will continue to be globally screwed. lol Fact. ;)
