Cynical enough to believe politics is for liars, naive enough to believe we should still get out and vote. I believe the best church is in the middle of the forest and/or mountains. And I believe spiritual enlightenment can occur on a bicycle, in a movie theatre and occasionally eating a perfectly ripe peach. I love the smell of fresh cut grass, but I hate mowing lawns. I like kissing in the rain -- I could spend an afternoon doing it. It doesn't have to be raining.

Still here? I work as a freelance graphic designer and writer. If my nose isn't buried in a book, chances are it's pointed at a movie screen. I listen to every kind of music -- my iPod starts with ABBA and ends with Zbigniew Preisner. I am a rider of road and mountain bicycles, a skier of cross country skis, a swimmer of water whenever I get close to some and a snorkeler of snorkels. I want to learn to surf. And sail. Two years ago I completed my YA200 certification and I am now, officially, a yoga teacher. Unofficially, I am still learning. I speak english reasonably well and french badly.

I hope you're getting the sense that I'm a well rounded person. Not physically round, mind you. I'm tallish and slim-ish with wavey brown hair and dark brown eyes -- hair is getting pretty grey these days. I am a lover of dogs and cats equally and without prejudice, although right now I have a cat. I love animals so much I tried to stop eating them, but returned to my carnivorous habits because they are delicious. Perhaps it is their karma to be eaten, or maybe it is my karma to one day be a steak. I'm looking for someone smart, funny and beautiful. I didn't think it would be this difficult to find her.
