Right then..... I am as laid back as they come. Every one has said it but I am. Don’t get me wrong there are many things I care passionately about but you are not going to see me jumping up and down ranting about it. Unless it is a bum call from an official at one of my daughters soccer matches then you may see me but I will be surrounded by other parents. Those soccer moms are harsh I tell ya!!!

I like to ride my bike (bicycle) down quiet cycle paths with my daughter. I like to coach her at soccer and just generally spend time with her.I love to cook and believe I am rather good at it. I really enjoy days out by the lake. I love summer. I am originally from England so appreciate the summer here more than most. The people back in England are that wet all year round that they are starting to grow webbed hands and feet again!!! Back to the pond life with them!!!
 
A partnership to me is one of total communication. If you are hurt, upset, angry for any reason let me know, perhaps I can help. If it is my fault,again, let me know. I have the ability to sit and talk. I do not like arguing and much prefer to find out what the issue is without getting further upset. I am intelligent and eloquent enough to be able to understand what is going on, what I or others have done and deal with it. I am also adult enough to admit if I am wrong. Hey, if your wrong your wrong!

Just as a note on that: I understand that a young lady may use her man on occasion as a sounding board for things going on in her life. Which is cool. When you tell us what the problem is and then tell us what you did about it, It gives us a sense of pride and the feeling of “My girl goes out there and kicks ass!” It brings us much closer to you.

As a man and a Father I am an avid protector. I like people to feel safe. I'm not over the top with it though. Unless you are my daughter of course.

I played rugby in England for about 12-14 years and was in the British Military for several years. I boxed and did several other sports which involved me getting kicked and generally smacked around for many years.

I am also funny (so I think) I can find something funny to be said in most conversations and if you slip up when talking and say something silly, I promise I will notice and I will make fun of you for it. However, you can make fun of me all you want.

I believe there is very little done without prior thought. This especially includes when people are mean. I am very observant and notice much of what goes on around me.I believe my self to be very accountable and someone that you can lean on in hard times.

Basically, I am looking for someone to spend time with and get to know with a view of building something that will last. I have come to the conclusion that as much as I like my alone time I also enjoy being around another person. I am looking for someone with confidendence, someone that can stand up for themselves and let the world know there are some things you just don't do. I would like this person to be able to let go if they can't change the situation and not dwell over it. I would also like this person to be funny. As I mentioned earlier I believe myself to be funny so being with another funny person would be great. Other than that be honest and be yourself.
