Wow, It's hard summing up my whole life in such a small box! The name's James, and I've been going strong for 24 years. I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier... For starters, I love, LOVE to be active! I like to face the world and explore whatever it has to offer from finding a new restaurant in "hidden" areas to getting out and discovering fun things to do in such a small town! I enjoy just driving around in my Trans Am with the T-tops off with really no destination in mind. For some reason, that just seems like a pretty solid way to get out and have fun! I have a "thing" for Trans Ams and am absolutely in love with them.


I would honestly like to find an awesome, down-to-earth gal that has her priorities straight! Are there actually women in MS that aren't trying to get their Masters in "drama-queen b!tchology?" As strange as it may sound, Ellen DeGeneres has all the right characteristics in a woman that I have been searching for my whole life... Seriously, who could say no to a genuine, hilariously smart, quick-witted woman who pretty much always finds some way or another to fully enjoy life? It's just a d@mn shame she's gay... I really am not looking for a relationship as much as I am a best friend that I can grow to love and trust. Someone who has a good sense of humor and isn't afraid to do things on a whim (yea, you know, some spontaneity! The spice of life!) with a strong sense of family values is always someone I can respect! It doesn't matter if you're shy or outgoing, as long as you can have fun and actually hold a conversation then you're alright in my book. And yes ladies, I DO know how to put the toilet seat down, so no worries about ever falling in and ending up with "lincoln logs" covering your dress! I would take a cute "dorky" girl any day over the cliché "hot body" girl who gets whatever she wants. No offense, but personally I can't stand b!tches like that. And yes, I SOOO went there, so booyah! Score one for the "average" girl-next-door!


Like most people from the coast, going to the beach is one of my favorite past times... Travelling is such a great way to relieve stress, and I think it would be awesome to comb through all 50 states and see why everyone says this is the best country in the world. With that being said, North Carolina and Wyoming are definitely the two most beautiful places I have ever spent more than a week visiting. Something about the fresh mountain air that just makes being alive something to be grateful for!


I try to take good care of myself physically and mentally, and as such I tend to date girls that do the same. However, I will befriend just about ANYONE! I love hearing what people have to say, because in true honesty that is the only way to hear such great stories from someone else's perspective. I am a glutton for trying new things(how else do you escape the monotony of life?) I absolutely love MUSIC! Radiohead, Muse, Doves, Band of Horses, Shinedown... Man I could go on and on about what rubs me the right way in the music world. 97.9 CPR is hands down the best radio station on the coast. But when all is said and done, I just work with what life gives me and keep life from getting stale. I'm gone pecan!

Honestly, I only joined this site to meet new people since I just moved here. I don't really know anyone, but I love to go out and have fun, and everything's better with company! But if I were to go out on a date with someone, I like to take things slow and lightly and focus on having a good time. I personally think a first date should be getting to know one another! Getting a bite to eat for lunch or just going out for coffee to me would be a good ice breaker. From there on, the sky is the limit. I wouldn't mind learning how to dance, and wouldn't you know I noticed a little place in Ocean Springs where you do just that - learn to dance! But in all honesty, I am very flexible and open to suggestions! We could walk down the beach, maybe stroll down downtown Ocean Springs and see what all the little shops have to offer, see what is going on in Mobile, or maybe hit up the hookah bar! The possibilities are endless, so if that time comes don't worry, I got it all covered! ;-)
