About Me
Okay, I feel I should begin with this preface: I don't love life, and I don't see every day as a wonderful miracle. That's not to say I don't appreciate the beauty of existence. But I also recognize the negatives. Life has kicked me around a bit, so we're a touch wary of each other, life and I.

Also, I'm not terribly good with people. Not saying I'm extremely lame, mind you, but I'm a bit. . . quirky? We'll go with "quirky" for now. I love nothing more than discussing random topics that have some interesting angle. From quantum physics to Bob Dylan appearing in a Victoria's Secret commercial.

I'm not a horrible person (though would I really tell you if I was?), I can hold up my end of a conversation (as long as it's not about Survivor or the new fall fashions), and I have a unique sense of humor. I think an ideal relationship is based around respect - you don't always have to agree (in fact, you shouldn't because that's just kind of creepy), but both people involved need to recognize the other's perspective. Unless the other person is saying something completely insane, like Justin Timberlake is an artistic genius or GW was a great president. Though I don't think it would be possible to have an ideal relationship with someone who would say either of those things. They should just be dropped. Flung, preferably. . . .I think I got off track a bit. . .

My ideal relationship would be two people who support each other in their separate but connected lives, share an understanding of respect and affection, and bolster each other when need be. Gee, that sounds passionate. But I do think passion should be involved. However you want to define that.

Oh, and just to warn you, I'm not really "outdoorsy." I enjoy a good hike every now and then (in contrast to mountain climbing - by "hike," I mean following a path through pretty mountain nature), but I have a bad back (yes, like an old, feeble woman), so I don't ski or snowboard or whitewater raft or any of those other activities everyone in Colorado seems to enjoy.
