OK I have now been swimming in the POF pond for a couple months now so I feel like an update is needed since becoming acclimated to the water.

I am a down to earth girl who enjoys people from all walks of life. I enjoy learning what makes someone tick. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy others with one as well.(Very important to me)I’m independent, open minded and very honest. Please don’t ask me if you don’t want the truth :-) I’m “me” always and don’t put up a front for anyone. I don’t really see the point...

I am quick witted for the most part with occasional moments of mental incompetence..lol I am easy to talk to and tend to have a personality that makes people feel at ease around me. I like saying off the wall things and being goofy to make people laugh. I can take picking as well as I can dish it out so no worries I can hold my own. With that said, I will break out my pout if I feel complexes starting to develop :-) I will listen to advice but am a touch stubborn so I sometimes have to figure things out on my own. I do have a level head on my shoulders but am spontaneous. I am the type that will drive 5 hours to feel my feet in the sand for 2 and will argue that it doesn’t make me impractical. I tend to think I’m well balanced. Being both grounded while letting myself live in the moment. I am a dreamer more than a realist. I am smart, work hard and pick up on things quickly. I have common sense (big plus if you have some as well). I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt and try hard not to judge others. I have a heart that wins most battles against my head. I am a people watcher. I enjoy exercising and eating healthy. I like being active and trying new things. I don’t always dress the same. I like to change it up. I enjoy fashion and funky stuff. Sometimes it shows and sometimes it don’t. I am most comfortable in a pair of jeans. I tend to feel lost if not organized. I am not a planner so I waffle on setting a date for things. I am laid back and easy going. I feel I have more creativity than what I currently unleash on the world. But plan on remedying that in the future. I have an obsession with trees and taking pictures of them. I often take pictures of myself when bored but am very overcritical of them. I like to think I am fairly innocent with just a very dirty mind.

I don’t really have a specific “type” of guy although different POF dates are helping me to narrow that down ...lol I have been married and am perfectly aware of what I don’t want and no, please don’t ask for a list. I will figure you out quick enough on my own..lets not spoil the fun.

I enjoy photography, riding on the parkway, hiking, dancing, shopping, going to the movies, hanging out with family and friends, going to wineries, musicals, art galleries, 4wheeling, gun range for target practice, wrapping up in a blanket and laying underneath the stars when it’s cold outside and I love, love, love music and concerts. I absolutely love the smell in the air when Autumn approaches. It makes me feel alive and is one of my most favorite things.

I hope to try the following things at some point: rock climbing, sky diving, scuba diving, horse back riding, salsa dancing, bowling (yes, I have never been), Opera etc. BUT with that said I do have to work my courage up on a few of those so I might not be game tomorrow ..lol

I enjoy a wide variety of music such as Beatles, Elvis, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Avett Brothers, Staind, My Chemical Romance, Pink Floyd, Elvis, AC/DC, The Frames, Cold Play, Blue October, Damien Rice, Pink, Alison Krauss, Nora Jones, Aerosmith, Meadow, Puddle of Mudd, Flyleaf, Nickelback, Amos Lee, Eric Clapton, Brighteyes, Evanescence, Anna Nalick, Finger Eleven, The Fray, Joseph Arthur, Norah Jones, Old Crow Medicine Show, Sick Puppies, Snow Patrol, Blue Highway, etc. I also listen to the top 40 and hits of today but am not as familiar with the artist.

I love movies and some of my favorites are Labyrinth, Princes Bride, Wedding Singer, Dances with Wolves, Tombstone, Legends of the Fall, 50 First Dates, P.S. I Love you, City of Angels, Star Wars, Goonies, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Dirty Dancing, Braveheart, Beauty and the Beast, Sixth Sense, Fight Club, Arthur, To Kill A Mockingbird, Billy Madison, Titanic, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Little Mermaid, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Interview with the Vampire

I don’t like couch potatoes so if you can list 14 shows you watch on a regular basis then most likely you sit on your butt to much for me. I like to surround myself with lively people that have great energy, enjoy having fun, bring out the good in me and that don’t create drama. I tend to enjoy open conversations more than the “quiz of matrimony” so please don’t take my lack of questions as a lack of interest. Yes, I will answer the 25 to 50 question quiz depending on your smile but please be advised that if it is multiple choice there does need to be an option “D other” for when I am indecisive or all other options just suck.

I generally like to let people tell me what they want me to know and share pictures when they want to share pictures. I try not to pry and be nosey and figure when someone is comfortable sharing something they will. And No, that statement does not mean that I will meet you in a park without ever seeing even a picture of you for the date of a lifetime. Thanks, I am aware of what I might be missing, but no thanks. :-)

I love animals....I have a Golden Labrador, Brindle Great Dane and 3 cats which don’t live at home.

I have quickly come to find out that common interest in chat does not always translate to a connection and chemistry in person so please keep that in mind if you get to meet me. This means wedding proposals on the first date will be automatically denied...lol

I am really looking to make some friends and have some fun and if that turns into a relationship then that is great. It boils down to chemistry and a connection!!!

In order to clear up some confusion in my previously short profile PLEASE NOTE:
I really appreciate all the compliments on my green eyes (took the guess work out of it for you) and my lips but there really is a lot more to me than that. YES, I have been told I look like Angelina Jolie and NO I don’t agree. For one, my lips are prettier than hers and two, I actually have a booty that will hold me down if a strong breeze blows thru ..lol

When I say I am open minded and want to have fun I don’t mean that I sleep around.
When I say I am not easily offended it doesn’t mean that I don’t expect to be treated with respect. AND No, I don’t meet guys just so that they can have the privilege of a kiss. If you want one, earn it!
