My life is currently in a “transitional” stage. This fall I am starting Grad School at The University of Maryland, moving into my first apartment, starting a new job and therefore relocating to a new city. It’s a lot, but I could not be more excited for all of the changes coming my way. I figured that adding a special someone into the mix couldn’t hurt either :)

To describe myself I would have to start by saying I am optimistic, considerate, silly, cheerful, smart, and creative. I like to surround myself with people who are down to earth, kind and fun. The only people that I can’t tolerate are mean-spirited or inconsiderate. I love to travel, I was born in Bermuda and I studied abroad in Spain. I’ve also traveled to many places within the US and Canada. I like all types of music but I’m not really a fan of anything in the hardcore rock or rap genres. Comedy and Action are my favorite types of movies but I think horror movies scare me more than the average person so I avoid them at all costs! I like to spend my free time hanging out with friends either at home or out and about. I seriously considered majoring in Art so I am impressed by anyone with any artistic/musical ability.

My parents have been together for nearly 30 years and they are two of the best people I know. I was raised to believe in God and treat everyone with compassion and respect. I have two sisters, one of which is my fraternal twin so I have been lucky to have never been without a friend or partner in crime. I have a diverse group of friends and an equally diverse interest in men. I would consider myself old fashioned when it comes to dating so please keep it moving if you’re just looking for the ‘flavor of the week.’
