Hello!

I am looking to meet somebody like-minded that is up for doing something fun and hoping to make some friends along the way. Thanks for keeping that in mind!

Music makes my world go 'round! I am a classically trained violinist. It is a key part of my being. With that said, it's understandable that I have a soft spot in my heart for good music. I also noodle a bit on the guitar as well as the fiddle. I appreciate and listen to all kinds of music--from Rock 'n' Roll to Classical, World Music to Weird Al (he deserves his own genre!), and just about everything in between. However, I've got to say there isn't much new country on my iPod.

I prefer movies over TV. However, some shows I enjoyed in recent years include Monk, Scrubs, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I love comedies, including silly British humour. Not big on horror flicks, but I'll give anything else a go. Some movies I've seen more than once: The Big Lebowski, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Braveheart, The Princess Bride, Analyze This!, Kung Pow!, and most of Monty Python's oeuvre.

I love sports, but not so much the typical ones around here. I go to RSL games, a few Jazz games, too. The only sport I'll watch on TV with any frequency is soccer. I would rather play than spectate most of the time. I will totally stop at a park if I see a chance to join a game of soccer, ultimate frisbee, or basketball. You know what I don't see often enough... Kickball! It is way overlooked these days! I guess people don't usually have one of those red rubber dodge balls handy. Oh, well. I don't play tennis very often, but it can be fun with the right person/people. I am also an enthusiastic ping pong player when I get the chance!

As for outdoorsy activities I really dig biking and hiking the mountains, but I am not an extreme sports guy. I love how you don't have to go too far from town to find awesome places to hike. I just got a mountain bike and hope to ride some awesome single track trails that don't have too much crazy downhill stuff. Got any favorites?

My fashion style centers around basic, good old American T-shirt and jeans for the most part, but I clean up very well. I even do the black tie thing when an occasion calls for it.
