I work in social services and love helping people. I like to read when I have time and go walking outdoors. I like movies with action, romance, sci fi, martial arts and western themes. I like all kinds of music but not much rap.I like socializing with my long distance friends via sites like networking sites, "virtual worlds" and email. I am not into bar scenes. I like to go to parks and I like to cookout and roast marshmallows over a fire. I have several cats, a dog,and a hamster and love animals.

I would like to meet someone in a casual, public place. I think most people are nervous when meeting for the first time and a more relaxing atmosphere would be so helpful for both. Fun things like bowling or playing Frisbee in the park for example. Or maybe going out for coffee.
