I am an optimistic, bright, fun, confident, kind, and educated man who is ready for the rest of my life to be the best of my life. I love to laugh, believe that kindness has its own rewards, am close to my family and friends, loyal, charming, intelligent, and downright cute! :) I still believe in romance. If you capture my interest I will bring you flowers, shower you with kindness and affection, and perform other as yet to be revealed romantic deeds.

I like to travel and visit new countries. I've been to Mexico, England, and Spain and loved them all. Italy is next! Although, I wouldn't sqawk if it was Ireland or Greece. For more local jaunts, I go to Tiger's games, Meadowbrook Theatre, the DIA, comedy clubs, and the zoo. Sometimes I like to dress up for a night of fine dining and a trip to the symphony. At other times I'll throw on some jeans and head out to a bar to hear a local band. I can talk sports with the boys or discuss any number of more elevated topics like literature, history, art,etc. My homebody side likes lazy Saturday afternoons relaxing on my deck, cooking dinner for/with my special someone, and cozy nights on the couch cuddling under a blanket and watching movies. I just figured out how to stream Netflix to my Blu-ray player and I LOVE IT!

My family and friends are a gift. I'm fortunate to be so blessed by their love. I've got a sister who is wheelchair bound that I pick up once a week to have dinner with our dad. Her strength and courage inspire me.

My music tastes vary. I'm not a huge country or rap fan, but I do enjoy modern rock, classical, jazz, blues, Spanish guitar, and get ready to chuckle, Christmas music. It makes me happy during the holiday season. :) I'm open to most types of music.

I know it's a lot to read, but thanks for checking it all out. I don't want to waste my time or yours, so if you have come this far and are interested, I'd like to hear from you. However, if you are going to e-mail, please understand that I am looking for dating that eventually has long-term potential, I DO want children of my own, I want someone who is geograhically desirable, has a job, keeps themselves in shape, is kind, has a positive outlook on life, and is low on drama.
