I tend not to become overly dependent on a romantic partner. My personal identity and independence from others is important to me. Therefore, I would need a partner who would be happy with us doing our own things almost as much as needing to constantly be together. Quality over quantity, at least at first. Dont get me wrong, I do want to get close to someone special, as long as I dont feel it is being forced. I do like shows of public affection.

The most recent movie I watched was National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

I am very comfortable with being intimate and vulnerable with the right person. I do have a big heart and am very open, so hopefully that is optimal instead of being intimidating. I openly extend trust and devotion unless it has been abused. I am big on communication(emotional intelligence), while being tolerant of ambiguity and emotional expression. Actions, not words, are what mostly speak volumes.

I dont have any issues in regards to my self-esteem, as I am freely aware of my weaknesses, and capable of admitting mistakes without thinking any less of myself. The decisions I usually make are not from peer, family, or social pressures, so I would think I would be ideal for someone looking for a strong male presence in their life. Family is important to me(I am Italian, hello.....), but I am definitely self-driven.

I dont get along well with people who feel lonely all the time. I prefer not to be in a relationship with someone who likes to keep secrets and is full of "suprises." I would like a partner with a decent amount of energy, enthusiasm for life, and someone who is self-confident as an individual. If you need constant nurturing and/or reassurance that everything is okay, you probably need a father figure that is seperate from your partner. My ideal mate is flexible enough to be the life of a party or able to lay low, depending on the time and place.

I like my scrambled eggs creamy when I am not having them omelette style. Yum.

I get along best with people who are patient and supportive. I would hope we would share the mutual goal of being as compatible as possible in as many areas as possible. Opposites may attract, but I believe matches are what last.
